Luke Hupton-MacGregor was born and raised in Lancashire, England. He began his career telling stories for the screen - serving as the producer, writer, and director on the feature film,
27, MEMORY LANE before he was chosen as one 12 writers by Curtis Brown Literary Agency to take part in their inaugural 6-month novel writing course in 2014.
In 2015, he moved to Canada to train as an art therapist, which inspired his novel, The Heart that Followed Me Home, that saw him chosen to participate in the 2017 cohort of Pitch Wars.
His non-fiction work has been featured in Fusion/Splinter News and Time to Change. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with his husband, their three guinea pigs - Brenda, Gracie and Oona, and their miniature dachshund, Tilly.
